Skills are extra apps for your HomeButler box. The ones on this page are open source, and we have checked what each one runs and what it can reach before listing it.

Already on your box. In the HomeButler app, open Rooms, then Add, then Skills.

Signed skill packs

Picked and checked by us, and signed so your box can tell. Download both files into the same folder on your box, then run the command shown. These do not affect your warranty or HomeButler Care.

Void warranty / download un-validated repos

Want something we have not checked? You can install any app that comes with a Docker compose file, from GitHub or anywhere else. We have not reviewed what it runs or what it can reach on your home network.

  • Installing one voids HomeButler's warranty and HomeButler Care for that box, from that day on.
  • The box records the date and shows it to our support team. Removing the app later does not undo it.
  • The hardware manufacturer's own warranty is not affected.
